Sydney-born Alycia began her acting career when she was only eight. Her first role was in the short film Martha s New Coat . Her TV debut on the set of one episode from the TV show McLeod's Daughter. Her first major work was her recurring role on the sci fi TV show The 100. Based on the novel series that had the same name The 100 was an adaptation of a show on TV. She portrayed Commander Lexa as a ferocious leader that ruled twelve clans. The TV show of horror Fear the Walking Dead increased her popularity. The show was met positively by critics and been nominated for numerous awards and nominations. Jigsaw Girl as well as The Branch are two other shorts in which she has appeared. Her debut feature film was the disaster movie Into the Storm, which featured found footage. It did very well commercially, even though the reviews were generally negative.
